Description:

Deep ocean creature

Habitat:

Found on a piece of equipment that was left on the ocean floor at Juan de Fuca ridge, approximately 200 miles off Seattle's shore.

Notes:

The creature was attached to the metal frame for the scientific equipment. It remained fairly intact for three to four days in sea water.
