Description:

The flower focused on here is the tall stalk in the foreground (not the daisies). About two foot in height with the flower cluster you see here at the apex. The flower is a deep custard yellow inside and creamier outside. It has about five petals. The mature blossom was closed due to rain.

The flowers actually often open in the rain, it is in the heat of the day that they are closed, opening in early evening and staying open on cool days. The entire plant is edible.
