Parapediasia teterrella
I sent a comment that seem to have not made it into this conversation. So will try again. I discounted the Parapediasia decorella - Graceful Grass-veneer Moth because of the orange stripe near the edge of the wing. Your photo does not have that. It does have a multiple light-orange-light curved stripe like the Parapediasia teterrella, bluegrass.
Thanks bayucca!
Gatorfellows, what made you think Parapediasia teterrella in contrast to Parapediasia teterrella?
Luna... Keeps you busy and it's much more fun as just looking in bugguide! Good luck!
Hey Jacob, can you not just post some NORMAL moths, maybe easy to ID? Just kidding, ehm..., sorry NO IDea, not even an idea...
A Crambid Snout moth. I do not know the species in your area, but will research and see if I can help.
