A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Scolopendra heros
This fellow was parked up against a rock, unmoving. Usually when I run across them, they are scurrying through the leaf litter or in and out under the rocks. This one stayed in this spot while I ran to get my camera, and was still there for sometime after I finished taking pictures. I went by an hour or so later, but by then it had moved off.
