Small brown grasshopper nymph with a humped thorax and short thick antennae. This species comes in green as well: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/148... This is the northern subspecies of the Green-striped Grasshopper.

Habitat:

Grassy hill with some shrubs and trees. Cedar Creek County Park, NY.
