yeah, it is edible as well but not necessarily recommended because of how similar it looks to the deadly Amanita pantherina (and other similar poisonous mushrooms?). Cheers lightworker; hopefully I'll remember that next time

Cool mushroom! When collecting Amanitas always capture an image of the base of the stem. Usually I get a hunting knife and sort of carve my way around and underneath the mushroom to avoid breaking off the stem base.

Chunky! The 'Blusher' is some amanita I guess. Don't think we have this one here.
