Burnet Rose Rust

Phragmidium rosae-pimpinellifoliae,

Description:

It looks like someone’s been out marking the wild roses with fluorescent orange spray paint. In fact, this is a natural fungal pathogen, snappily called Phragmidium rosae-pimpinellifoliae, that infests wild burnet roses and also their cultivated cousins.
