Description:

About 50mm wide and 60mm tall, dark brown to black umbo paler toward margin which has a thin white edge; stipe thick, fibrous pale grey-brown; gill tan and fragmented; older ones showing caps upturned. Growing in small clumps and loose groups in grass and old mulch.

Habitat:

Open sports field fringe to forest.

Notes:

Yet to confirm ID - Fuhrer has one with white gills... not these either http://www.elfram.com/fungi/fungi_n/mycy...
