Hoary Servaea

Servaea incana (L. Keyserling, 1878)

Description:

A tiny furry jumping spider jumped out of the shopping bag as I put it on the kitchen bench. It just happens to be the same as the one I found hiding in eucalyptus bark last week. Strange because I didn't go anywhere near a gum tree. At least I can yell it's not exactly the same one so there must be a few around at the moment.

Habitat:

Usually in the bark of eucalyptus but this one was a stowaway.
