Zeltus amasa maximinianus
Fluffy Tit Butterfly(left pic) is the common name. Before, I saw this rather rare butterfly in Singapore, I encountered a Banded Imperial Butterfly (right pic; similar small size, shape and colour ) just earlier less than 200 m away. My initial thought, today is so lucky to spot two Banded Imperial and partly, I am not an expert. Now, I feel even more fortunate once I found out it is a rare Fluffy Tit Butterfly.
The location is along a mountain biking trail in the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve area. In fact, after taking a few shots, a cyclist went by and the Tit flew away and into the thick vegetation.

Hi LeeWM, welcome back to Project Noah! :) Great to see this butterfly spotting! As Brian38 noted, if you can separate these photos into 2 distinct spottings, that would be greatly appreciated. Project Noah's goal is for each spotting to represent one distinct species. Thanks so much!
Welcome to Project Noah LeeWM. Great spottings of these two butterflies! This is the first spotting of the Fluffy Tit from Vietnam on Project Noah - the others occurred in Thailand. If you would please make a separate spotting for the Banded Imperial Butterfly. This is especially important for others who are researching. Thanks in advance.
