Description:

Small passerine bird, identified with its bright chestnut crown, white eyebrown, black line extending from bill through eye to ear and lack of dark moustachial. Nape, cheek and rump are uniform light gray.

Habitat:

Suburban area in Prairies habitat. South Saskatchewan river banks.
