Arkansas Twistflower

Streptanthus maculatus ssp. obtusifolius

Description:

A very beautiful flower that has clasping leaves and star-shaped flowers all along the stem. It is anywhere from 1 to 4 feet tall has a fairly shallow root system and is a perennial.

Habitat:

On a rocky mountainside in Arkansas.

Notes:

I have been trying to find out what it is but it is very hard to identify. If you can identify it that would be great!
