I stand corrected. Turns out I misidentified the gender of this dragonfly. It is, in fact, an immature male Twelve-spotted Skimmer. Good thing Fernando brought my attention to this spotting again. A female would look identical to a male, without the white wing spots (similar to the pattern of wing spots of female Common Whitetail dragonflies). My sincere apologies for any confusion I may have caused!

how can i reconocer a dragonfly of female gender please i need the answer early
