Bushbrown

Mycalesis sp.

Description:

Nymphalidae; Satyrinae; Mycalesis sp. This butterfly appears to be rather worn out. The colours are faded and there is damage near the hindwing tornus which is covered by a small twig. So it is difficult to be sure of the identification, but I think this is Mycalesis frederici Aoki & Uemura, 1982,

Habitat:

Spotted in leaf litter at the roadside.
