Common House Jumper (♀) - With Prey

Menemerus bivittatus

Description:

This is a common house jumping spider with its prey, wasp mimic moth (Amata huebneri). This spider also known as gray wall jumper. This one is a female spider, and its size is about 8 mm in length.

Habitat:

- Spotted on the wall of my house. Usually, it can be found around the house and other man-made structures.

Notes:

- This spider is from the family Salticidae (Jumping Spiders). Here is my spotting of its prey, wasp mimic moth (Amata huebneri) - http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/146...
