Natal Green Snake

Philothamnus natalensis

Description:

Dark green back and light green belly. When he breathes in you can see black and iridescent blue between his scales.

Habitat:

Found in a bush near a creek during the day in a ravine.

Lovely! As with bird feathers - up close you can see the iridescence, so beautiful to observe.
