Cape Grass Lizard

Chamaesaura anguina

Notes:

These lizards are not easily seen as they usually inhabit montane grasslands where their serpentine body, reduced limbs, and rough, keeled scales, help them “swim” through thick grass.

Hi Jeff, thank you for all your amazing contributions to the fynbos mission. I would like to ask if you could remove the insects you added as it is a plants only mission. I also accidently added an insect there but took it off now. Alternatively you could also add your spots to the Table Mountain National Park mission: http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/9008...
And of course all your insects are welcome on the Insects of Western Cape mission. Thank you so much Jeff!
