Hi isabelle, It looks like Makkuro Kurosuke 'soot ball' from Spirited Away. There is definitely a similarity. Nice parallel Isabelle.
it kind of looks like the soot puffs in 'spirited away'!
Stepping on it would be horrible. Can't imagine. But this is from an aquarium so, no worries about that.
