Caterpillar

Description:

These are pretty small caterpillars that don't measure more than 1/2" when they are full grown. I have only seen them on one specific plant, the monk orchid - Oeceoclades maculata - which is a terrestrial orchid here in Costa Rica.

Habitat:

Tropical dry forest in NW Costa Rica
