Scrub Bluestem

Schizachyrium niveum

Description:

http://www.fnai.org/FieldGuide/pdf/Schiz... Appropriately called "Bluestem:, as it really does have a silvery-blue color to it.

Habitat:

In a few undisturbed Scrub ecosystems in Florida. Endemic. Federally listed as a species "Of Concern", State-listed as Endangered. Since this is so rare, I'm NOT putting the exact location down.
