Western gull

Larus occidentalis

Description:

These gulls were having so much fun playing with a tennis ball they found on the beach. It was almost like they were playing soccer. The minute the ball rolled down the beach into the water they would run after it and catch it with their beak, Then they would run away with it with the others following it and chasing it. They had the additional advantage of flying off with it! It was fun and entertaining!
