Description:

The name is an apt one...you can see the hair-like crest. Black but not the same shade all over...with a furled tail.

Habitat:

Kewzing village is a remote area in the western part of the state of Sikkim in India. I spotted this bird on a tree that rose high from the valley below the balcony of the homestay I stayed at.
