Betulaceae Betula papyrifera
Other names is American White Birch and Canoe Birch. About 50 feet tall and a 1 foot in circumference. Very skinny. It needs sunlight because it is towering over all of the other trees. a spaced out forest area. I can tell there is age continuity. Leaves have turned yellow and are rounder with a pointy tip, Also it is toothed. It's fruit is a cone like but skinnier. Papery bark hence the name paper bich
In a forest with Age Continuity. Mixed of American Beech, Canadian Hemlock and Box Elder. most of the trees are placed good amount far apart.
