A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Yet another emerald coloured moth with a sprinkling of white dots and a few black ones. The hind wings seem to have been pulled to form tails.
Drawn towards the porch light and resting on the bamboo walls of a cottage at Village Kolakham; a remote, forested area on the Indo-Nepal border. This place is situated at an altitude of 1868m in the Kalimpong Hills of Darjeeling District, on the fringe of Neora Valley National Park...a veritable moth paradise.
