Similar to a Dowitcher but is boldly cammoed with white stripes over brown barring and spots. Head has one white stripe down the center. Small in size and with a long bill.
This was in marshy area of a lake with reeds to hide in.
Was looking for something else and almost stepped on it. It went into the reeds and when I returned it had came back to the same spot.
