Harbor Seals

Phoca vitulina

Notes:

Very concerned looking Harbor seals after a mock kill was acted out by a group of Transient Orca whales (you can see them in Pic #2 swimming close by). The 6 Orca's split up and a few swam close around the rock and disappeared. Then out of no where a couple came charging at full speed towards the rock, porpoising as they went. The idea is that they create a big wave and push the seals into the water. Lucky for the seals, they didn't pursue this hunt.
