Twilight Darner

Gynacantha nervosa

Description:

Pale, late flying darner. Crepuscular (flies at dawn and/or dusk) mostly. Very pale brownish-gray with small dark dots along sides.

Notes:

I lucked out with this one. I was driving back to my campsite late afternoon and this large dragon was flying around a small area just a few feet away from the site. I got out and caught it!
