Description:

The photo, taked in the city of Itaguai - RJ, shows a plant called Petunia, a botanical genus belonging to the Solanaceae family. Its name is of Tupi origin and means "red flower". It is a generally hybrid plant and its flowers can present in the colors red, pink, orange, blue, white, salmon and purple. They originate from tropical and subtropical sites in South America, reach 15-30 cm and prefer to be exposed to the sun. (Leticia Lima TIM-3M)
