A medium size Ganoderma applanatum, at Horseshoe lake reserve, Burwood Christchurch...In June 2011, a 6.3 Richter scale aftershock (part of the seismic phenomenon Christchurch experiencing since September 4, 2010), affected gravely the lake and the surrounding suburb...I haven't been there since...It used to be a mushroom spotter's playground...So many species in one area...
