Aurora House Snake

Lamprophis aurora

Description:

They average 45-60 cm, but can reach up to 90 cm. Their main color is olive with a distinctive dorsal stripe that is orange/brown. They are mostly nocturnal, we found this guy under a rock during the middle of the day.

Habitat:

Found in South Africa, it favors grassland and forested coastal areas. Sometimes found within close proximity of humans.
