Description:

Trachelas tranquillus, also known as the Running spider and Ground sac spider, has rust-colored legs, a black cephalothorax, and a sandy brown abdomen. This specimen was about 5 cm large. These spiders do not construct webs.

Habitat:

Seen at night, outdoors, on a wall.

Notes:

A centipede was lurking nearby.
