Eastern black swallowtail larva

Papilio polyxenes asterius

Description:

The eggs laid on May 16th have emerged! I didn't count them all but there were quite a few. Also looked to have a few predators moving in for an easy snack :( so lets see how many make it.

Habitat:

West central ga on my dill plant

Notes:

my reference link will take you back to egg laying day where I caught mama depositing them on my dill plant.
