Golden Top

Stropharia cubensis

Description:

When spotted, it had a brown capped mushroom with white stem. Stem is very thin and there is no ring. Two days later I went back and the cap had turned yellowish, almost white. I took another picture beside a 10 cent coin to show size. Definitely fun...

Habitat:

The debris of the forest floors
