NZ common rock crab

Hemigrapsus sexdentatus

Description:

A red Hemigrapsus sexdentatus (formerly known as Hemigrapsus Edwardsii), in a shallow rockpool...He was soft and pliable on top due to a new exoskeleton, I noticed nearby there was a broken piece of his old one, so I photographed it as well (3rd pic)
