Dead finger sp.

Xylaria sp.

Description:

'bootlaces' were growing on the underside of stick that the fungus was growing on. Are these from honey mushrooms or from the xylaria sp itself? Maybe Dead mans fingers or dead molls fingers. It seemed like the fruitbodies were growing individually at their bases (the fruitbodies weren't connected at the base of the stem by anything other than invisible mycelium)
