Shamrock Orb Weaver Spider

Araneus trifolium

Description:

Araneus (orb weaving spiders) .75 inch abdomen and about 1.25 - 1.50 inches in total length. Comes in various coloration and design. This female is reddish/brown with large bright white sports. Black and white striped legs. Very active repairing web after light rain.

Habitat:

Meadow with abundant flowers and weeds and insects.
