Description:

The buds start pink and then turn blue when they bloom. The leaves hold water pretty well, as you can see in photo 2. The leaves are also edible and taste a bit like oysters, which is where the name comes from.

Habitat:

On a part of the beach where the tide occasionally come up and covers the plants
