Big mushroom with a 10 cm red cap and yellow gills. Spotted on a pine tree stump. It is not usually eaten due to its bitter taste.

Habitat:

Pine tree forest up to 1300 m o mountain terrain, on a pine tree stump. Reserva de la Biosfera del Real Sitio de San Ildefonso-El Espinar.
