Variable squirrel

Description:

A fairly large, robust squirrel, likely to be the sub-species C. f. floweri, which has adapted to life in & around Bangkok (see reference).

Habitat:

Suburban parkland.

Notes:

I only spotted this squirrel high up in a Casuarina tree when I heard it making a lot of noise. I realized why shortly after - it was scolding the character who is trying to look innocent in the third photo ;)
