Description:

Small moth. Very light dirty green colour with squiggly, spots and round marks on wings. When the hind wings fan out there is a squarish dark patch on each wing.

Habitat:

Drawn towards the porch light of a cottage at Village Kolakham; a remote, forested area on the Indo-Nepal border.This place is situated at an altitude of 1868m in the Kalimpong Hills of Darjeeling District, on the fringes of Neora Valley National Park.

Notes:

Wikipedia says : It is a major pest in cotton and one of the most polyphagous and cosmopolitan pest species.
