family Ichneumonidae
Unknown species of what is likely a wasp in family Ichneumonidae. He was pretty small, maybe three or four centimeters long, with really vivid coloring. Sorry about the crappy quality, it was hard to get the camera to focus on him and not what was on the other side of the window.

Ichneumon wasp, family Ichneumonidae. These wasps are almost impossible to ID beyond family from images alone....but you might post to Bugguide.net where Bob Carlson does some amazing IDs with minimal information.
