I was surprised to find these Gladiolus flowers on this trail. I have never seen them anywhere that was not landscaped, so I wonder how they made it so far.
These were growing at the edge of the power line path that cuts through forest, probably half a mile from any nearby gardens or buildings. Many wild passionflowers were also nearby
