I found this Mandarin Duck at a pond surrounded by Mallards and Canada Geese...must be a stray from somewhere because Colorado is not his native range!! He sure is a beauty, but probably is lonely...I didn't see a female anywhere!! There are introduced populations in different places around the world, but I had never seen one here in Colorado.

Thanks, matimar...I am aware there are mallards in the mix, but this is a spotting for the Mandarin Duck. I have a separate spotting of the mallard. Thanks for the comment!
