it did smell like hay though. It was growing in long grass under birch
Thanks CV. The reason I didn't think it was M. oreades was because the stem was weak and brittle whilst M. oreades has a very tough and 'bendable' stem. I guess it could be an old M. oreades but I'm very unsure
