Red Spurfowl

Description:

Reddish, bare skin around eyes. Rather hen-like in shape.

Habitat:

Tadoba- Andheri national park. We literally had to request/beg/cajole/scold the guides who were fixated on tigers to stop for the birds and smaller creatures. This is not the sharpest of shots but this bird is secretive and difficult to photograph. I have half a dozen blurry shots.
