Pink hemispherical flower with almost no stem, very close to basal rosette of dissected leaves, rosette approx 12 cm across, flower 4m across.


Karst landscape at around 100m elevation.


Identification tentative; identifies the species as being endemic to Turkey, and yet it is illustrated in Hellmut Baumann 'Greek Wildflowers' pl 409.
