Ηermit crabs

Pagurus novizealandiae

Description:

Two hermit crabs, at Motunau beach, NZ. I was watching for sometime the one in the nerite shell (small black shell) , trying to enter the cookia sulcata shell (pinkish shell), wich was also occupied by a hermit crab...Eventually he gave up and left with his nerite shell. Short video added too :)
