Description:

23 to 28 cm long with a wingspan of 31 to 41 cm. Average weight of the species is 77 grams. Males: 72-94 grams and Females: 59-91. The head varies from black to gray with white arcs over the eyes. The throat is white with black streaks and the belly and under tail are also white. The robin has a brown back and reddish-orange breast. The bill is mainly yellow and the legs and feet are brown. Eggs are a light blue color.

Habitat:

Widely distributed throughout North America. From Canada to central Mexico and along the Pacific Coast.
