Leaf rolling spider

Phonognatha graeffei

Description:

Resting inside a very appealing hide made of young furry leaves this spider kept it's two front legs on the main lines to a web extended across tall grasses. It looked about 20mm long, had complex yellow and brown patterns on its back, orange banded forelegs.

Habitat:

Tall grasses in suburban back yard.

Notes:

Yet to search for ID... suspect some orb spider maybe.
