Ring-billed Gull

Larus delawarensis

Description:

I grew up with Sea Gulls on the ocean, these ones are far inland, Alberta. They are very entertaining with their antics, playing "King of the Hill", with the lamp post, one would land and claim his domain only to have another one come up behind him and kick him off. With hundreds of these gulls flying around and only a few lamp posts they became "prime real estate".
